Holy cow I love this idea!!!  I think that is just about the most adorable pumpkin I've ever seen and I have all the stuff. I think I need one or two. Maybe one with narrow mouth lids and one with the wide mouth lids. They would turn out with different sizes right? Maybe I need three. Maybe I should make them for my ladies I visit teach. 

Painting

Maddy the artist! These tempura paints are really fun and I'm strangly calmed and made happy by the smell. Perhaps it's old childhood memories surfacing in connection with a remembered smell. They say senses are tied to memories right? Or I'm just crazy.

I know, everyone is crafty these days, but, this is an accomplishment for me. I went to "Wood Connection" and boy was I overwhelmed! All the ideas were so cute (and there were a million of them). I probably am actually able to do most all the projects they had, but it was really, really hard for me to pick something. I spent way too much time wandering around. I'm not sure why. At any rate, this is my craft for February. I know anyone could do it so I'll show off the cute idea (I love that little Hershey's kiss dotting the "I") rather than the accomplishment itself. Also, I should admit, I stole the entire idea - blocks, paper choices, paint choices- all of it!

Boy, there is something about this weather that is bringing out the crafty in me! I bought this candlestick and cheese block-thing 2 or 3 months ago. I wanted to do something I saw on a blog. I finally got around to sanding and painting

I think it turned out pretty cute. Of course, now I have to make sure to keep my counter cleared or it won't look nice!
