A very belated Christmas

Merry Christmas
Christmas 2011 we spent in Payson. After a nice Christmas Eve dinner we went for a train ride on Grandpa's train. It was cold but fun to be in the train with its Christmas lights twinkling. We came in and warmed up a bit and then piled in the car to head to the Spanish Fork Christmas lights show via Salem Pond. I love Salem Pond at Christmas. They have lighted "trees" in the water and it is truly lovely. I'll get a picture next year.

The drive through the Spanish Fork lights was very exciting for Maddy. She was positively giddy the whole time. As neat as it was to see as an adult, Maddy's joy definitely made the trip worth it.

Christmas morning arrived and Santa had found us as Grandma and Grandpa Choo-choo train's house.

It was amazing how long these little helicopters Uncle Cody brought kept the grownups busy.

Can't wait until next Christmas when Maddy understands it all even more. As wonderful as the holiday is, it is definitely better as a parent. Merry Christmas everyone.
